Notes: Sold father’s house in 1950

According to Old Homes and Gathering Places of Yarmouth, The Greek Revival House at 157 Willow Street built in 1830 was sold in 1888 to William H. Hurst. Mr. Hurst was a mariner and while at sea, a boom on the Scallop boat that he was working on hit him in the head, killing him. His widow, Ethel M. Hurst, sold the house to William P. Frost in 1950. (Actually, Ethel was his daughter.)
